Southern Pines (Greater Raleigh Area), North Carolina

Hi, I’m Tara.

I picked up lifestyle photography as a hobby over the years as a way to occupy myself while my kids play. I love capturing candid moments that show the emotion behind the scene. By day, I’m a software engineer and manage teams at a healthcare tech startup, and while I love the fast-paced problem solving and analytical nature of my work, I crave creative outlets.

I live in the greater Raleigh-Durham area in Southern Pines, North Carolina and love using my husband, 17-year-old stepdaughter, 4-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter, beagle and dachshund-mix as subjects but would love to showcase your family in its natural element as well. I love the outdoors and am an avid trail runner; I’ve lived across the US and UK, and my favorite parts of every place have centered around exploring the world around me.
